UNB Captures Gold #2

 Peter Shaw led the UNB Cougars to their second national championship and he did it with one arm. Shaw opened the tournament with a no-hitter and repeated the feat with a 2-0 win over Concordia in the final.

Rain has once again forced changes to the National Championship schedule. While day one games were completed as planned, Ottawa and Durham woke to a postponement of their Saturday morning match-up.

Get out your slide rule and let's see who is first. The playoff standings could not be decided until the final out of the last game of the round robin. Four teams were tied with two wins and a loss, so the mathemeticians were needed to decipher the tie breaking formula.
