Durham first to clinch

The Durham Lords capped off a solid season to secure their third conference championship and another trip to the national tournament. The Lords swept the York Lions 5-0 and 7-5 in the Ontario final.
The Lords went 9 and 3 on the regular season, suffering all three losses at the hands of the Queen's Golden Gaels. However, the Gaels were upset in the semi final with the York Lions.
The Lions, last year's finalist at the National, suffered through the regular season before finding their bats in the Queen's matchup.
The Lords had a heart breaking loss to the Lions in the semi final at last year's national. However, they had York's number this season, winning all encounters.
