It was cold in Ottawa but not cold enough to freeze the ball in its track and not cold enough to make players leap. However, the camera can catch both.

Teams are looking skyward at the 2006 edition of the National Championship. Rain stopped play in the middle of game one and pundits fear the entire first day schedule will be lost to weather.
